A description of how Message and Comment Permalinks are handled on Sueetie Walls

Because the Content Value of Wall Messages and Comments is High

The content produced by Wall Messages and Comments has a lot of value, and without links to that content the value of that content is drastically reduced. Because we value Wall Messages and Comments and integrate that content into Sueetie Data Core in features like Site Activity lists and searching, we want to easily reference both messages and comments. This document is a description of how Sueetie Wall Messages and Comments are referenced with Permalinks.

Location of Permalinks

Here are the locations of Permalinks to Wall Messages and Comments. Each Message has its own (localized) "Permalink" link as shown here.

Permalink Actions

The Permalink Action for Wall Messages and Comments is that when a Message is permalinked, it is displayed separately on a web page along with all of its comments. The page has full functionality supporting the addition of comments. A link under the Page Title returns a user to All Wall Messages. The page is reported on in Sueetie Analytics, with analytics reporting for each message (and all comment permalinks, too.) Here's a screenshot of the Wall Message Permalink display page.

Wall Comments are displayed individually, with links to the Comment's complete Wall Message Thread and to All Messages.
